During the time at home for those few months this year, I tried and did not succeed in learning how to play the piano. It has been a bucket list item most of my life. When I was a kid in Norwalk, we had an organ that my mom would play by ear. She would be able to hear any song once, and play it perfectly. I have a long time friend like that now, Pete Salant. He can sit down and play any request. So fun at parties! It always amazes me how people can read music and play an instrument. It’s a gift. Cheers to those of you who can pick up something and play!
