Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular Cancelled

Parade officials have canceled the annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular scheduled for November 22, 2020 as the ongoing coronavirus pandemic continues to force the cancellation of large public events.

The health and welfare of the community is of primary concern. Therefore, in accordance with the guidance of public health officials and Governor Ned Lamont, the 2020 Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular has been canceled.

“We know the Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular is a time-honored community tradition that many look forward to each year, and we thank our sponsors, participants, volunteers and residents for their patience and understanding. This would have been the 27th annual Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular and is the first year that is has had to be canceled. We are talking with our sponsors and partners and thinking of creative experiences that can drive people to Stamford Downtown this fall/winter and we look forward to presenting the Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular next year on November 21, 2021.” said David Kooris, President of Stamford Downtown.
