ABOUT JILLIAN CELENTANO Jillian is a trans woman who transitioned four years ago. She is an advocate for the transgender community, and speaks at various venues across New England, including conferences, support groups and medical facilities. She has been a GSA (Genders & Sexualities Alliance) instructor for a high school in New Haven, is a mentor and has organized a support group for transgender youth. Jillian is pursuing her master’s degree in social work to order to become a counselor for the transgender population. She is currently a social worker intern at the Yale Gender Program in New Haven.
