“Concert with a Purpose” featuring Jose Feliciano and special guest Vaneese Thomas at The Ridgefield Playhouse

Join in and let’s JAM human trafficking together. That’s the tagline from CT based Traffick Jam Live, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization aimed at collaboratively disrupting human trafficking, specifically sex trafficking of girls under the age of 18, here in the U.S. In one week, millions of Americans learned a hand signal that can rescue trapped victims from abuse and human trafficking. On “Giving Tuesday”, November 30th, Traffick Jam Live is hosting a “Concert with a Purpose”, featuring Jose Feliciano and special guest Vaneese Thomas at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Between the 2 performances several Connecticut based anti-human trafficking non-profits (PEHT, LOVE 146 and TJL) will share some vital information about human sex trafficking right here in our own communities. State Senator Will Haskell will join them on stage and also comment about the hand signal and the importance of the recently signed CT anti-human trafficking law.

José Feliciano headlined the Grand Opening of The Ridgefield Playhouse In 2000. 21 years later…The LEGEND returns. After the opening act at 7pm sharp, featuring Vaneese Thomas performing soulful classic hits, will be a brief presentation from Traffick Jam Live and several other Connecticut based anti-human trafficking non-profits. The presentation take-aways include: explanation of the hand signal to alert others that they are trapped with their trafficker, tips on “Red Flags” to look for to spot early indications of “grooming” techniques of traffickers; a protective look at how social media can provide traffickers access to our young daughters.

Traffick Jam Live shines a spotlight on the shadows of human trafficking through concert and event productions that inform audiences on vital human trafficking awareness information. For starters, if you see something, say something by calling the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733.

Join multi–Grammy Award winning Superstar José Feliciano for an evening to remember. The Gold Circle tickets also include post event VIP “meet and greet” with José Feliciano after the concert.
